Milestones or new symptoms: I either have terrible growing pains or terrible gas cramps. I don't know which it is but it hurts!! Sorry for the TMI. Things like this alwas make me worry but i heard LO on the doppler today!

Our next apt is August 8th. I can feel the movements stronger now and am waiting impatiently for hubby to feel them too! Nausea came back though
1. My favorite movies were The Wizard of Oz and The Beauty and The Beast. I can't wait to share them with our Zoey
2. My favorite books were the Pinkerton books, about a great dane who was also a lap dog : )
I don't think I ever made an introduction. My name is Michele and this will be my first baby. Me and my SO are super excited that it is going to be a girl. He thought from the very beginning that it was a girl. Sure enough when we had out a/s last week the tech told us it is a girl. I started crying as soon as she said it. My EDD is December 11th but I am having a c section so my doc said she will do it the week before. As for milestones I reached 20 weeks on Tuesday. I still find it hard believe that I am going to have a baby. I did have a loss last year when we first tried to get pregnant. I lost my first 1 at 7 weeks. It just so happened that it was a few days before my birthday and we were supposed to go to Vegas but had to cancel our trip.

smileytr, how was your anatomy scan? Excellent! Everything was perfect and we didn't find out the sex (which is what we wanted), so we're still Team Green! We also had a regular OB appointment and got to hear the heartbeat again! Loved it!

Milestones or new symptoms: I feel like I am really, really starting to show these days. My weight difference in one day is about 6 pounds (from am weighing to pm weighing). That is crazy!

It went pretty well! Our baby showed us within 10 seconds of the ultrasound that we are having a boy! There was one area of concern with his heart, there is a small hole between the lower chambers. They did say that they see if often and it should resolve itself. I go back in a month to see if it has fixed itself. Fingers crossed!
1. I don't know that I have one particular movie in mind, but I am a sucker for the Pixar movies so I'm sure I'll enjoy watching things like Toy Story and Finding Nemo with him.
2. The Hungry Caterpillar. My mom taught preschool for a while and has all these little props to use with that story. It will be so fun.

It's a boy!
We have our a/s this Sunday (finally!!!) and then I see the OB next Friday. I'm so ready to find out if we're Team Pink or Team Blue so I can start planning!
My favorite children's movie is either Little Mermaid or Emporer's New Groove. I watch both movies with my girls now, so adding a baby to movie nights will be pretty great
My favorite book is The Giving Tree and Oh the Places You'll Go. Again, I read these books to the kids and they all grew to love them. I've already started reading out loud to my belly in hopes that this baby will grow up with a love of reading like my kiddos.

Sheila.scully, smileytr, ilenegrace, cherry1111, weddedwife, how was your anatomy scan? Baby was measuring perfectly on time and all the organs look wonderful. Found out we are having a boy! No matter what happens after this, I at least have one of each now. Doesn't mean we are done, but we are very happy.

I think i missed last weeks check in if we had it but i had my A/S Scan for real this time. ITS A BOY! it was slightly annoying my pictures are horriable. If it was not for the second tech i wouldn't have seen anything so she told me it was a boy and i wanted to cry becuase i couldent see anything that was happening then she had problems getting a scan of the heart because of the way LO was laying (under my belly button) so she called in a second person.

This is my first time on the check-in. My name is Rachelle and I am excited to say I will be having a baby girl EDD Dec 15! I live in Dallas but am moving to Denver next week! My husband and I have been trying for a baby for four years. I have lost three little angels in my journey so far, and I am thankful every day to have made it this far with my baby girl.
I go for my a/s on Monday and can't wait to see her on the screen again!
I can't wait to watch Beauty and the Beast with her and share The Velveteen Rabbit!
