Pumps are sold and bought used all the time. They can be sterilized & the milk does not run through the tubes or pump itself. The milk only passes through the connectors and bottles. Both of which can be boiled and sanitized or replaced. Apparently you must be loaded with money & can afford a $300 breast pump like its nothing but not all of us can. I personally know moms who have not nursed their babies because they had to go back to work & could not afford a pump. Buying a used pump would benefit these moms. So next time you have an ugly comment, keep it to yourself
