Non-STTNers- what time do you go to bed?

I should probably go to bed earlier since I have to get up to feed E, but for some reason, I can't get myself to bed before 11pm.  On a good night she sleeps from 7pm-4am, so 5 straight hours of me sleeping isn't bad, but last night she was up at midnight, 3am, and then 6am for the day so not a great night (although I know it could be worse).  What time do you go to bed and get up?  I'm usually up by 5:30am as my 3yo DS is an early riser.

  • I close my eyes by 11pm.

I am up by 5:30 am to get ready for work and daycare drop off by 6:30 am.

  • Lizzie, my nights are pretty similar to yours.  I try to be in bed by 11, but sometimes (like tonight) probably wont be until 12.  DS will probably wake soon, then again around 4 and up for the day at 6:30am.

I just got B to bed and this is the norm lately, I am lucky if I get to bed by 11:30 :( how you ladies get you LO to sleep at 7 is beyond me, I wish!

  • Like you, DS does 7-4 on a good night. So, while that's an awesome stretch, it only helps me so much because I can't fall asleep at 8pm! Most nights I'm in bed around 10, 10:30. 9:30 if I'm really wiped. I ALWAYS regret staying up past 10:30, for some reason I am a million times more tired even if it's just 15-20 min.

  • My goal is 10, but I'm never in bed by then. LBB has been getting up around 4 lately, although last night he was up at 2:30 instead. I'm up at 6 and he's up around 7.

  • He falls asleep between 8-9, I'm out always before 10, sometimes earlier. Tonight he woke at 11, now 3...probably again at 5. I need my sleep!

  • Lights out at 845pm. Asleep by a little after 9pm. He wakes up around midnight and 3am and goes to bed by 7pm.  You all need to get to bed earlier! I would never survive if I went to bed after 1130pm.

Granted I also no longer watch TV....

Lately I have been waiting until after DD's first wake up to go to bed, which is somewhere between 10 and 11pm.  It is killing me though- I need to go to bed earlier.  Last night she woke up at 11pm and didn't go back to sleep until 2:30am... and I have to get up at 5:15am for work.

  • 11. We have 2 to 3 wake ups and I usually get for the day with her last wake up or around 7 if she doesn't get up between 630.and then. She sleeps from 730/8 until 730/830.

ETA: A few nights a week MH doesn't get home until either 8 or 930 and he works on weekends so I stay up to eat dinner with him and hang out. I would go to bed earlier if he had a regular 9 to 5.

  • We are usually in bed by 11.

  • So how long are your LO's awake for when they wake up during the night?  I can't imagine going to bed before 10:00!  We usually sleep at midnight or 1:00 with LO waking 2 or 3 times per night, and up for the day at 7:00-ish. She's only awake for 10 minutes or so so it's not too bad.
