This is what my cousin named her son. Yeah, it's for a boy. I've never heard of it, neither has any of the names sites I've checked. It seems like a more obscure form of the name Lydia to me.
This!! That is terrible. It makes it even worse that it was used for a boy.

Aside from the whole labia thing, which shoulda been an obvious red flag, I can't think of any word with an -ia ending that isn't feminine. At the very least, an -ia ending is feminine and an -io ending is masculine.

Exactly this. It reminds me of labia and it looks feminine, poor kid.

I actually met a Ladia before in the Czech Republic! He spelled it differently, though I don't know how to spell it because they have so many strange letters I don't know how to use. At least he will feel like his name belongs if he visits Europe!

I have to say that when I first saw the thread title, I thought it said Ladida, as in the sarcastic sing-song phrase "Well, La Dee Da!"
Def don't like it at all.
It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s that I don’t know you. Stranger Danger.
Same.
Woah. I'm surprised I didn't notice this, but more so she didn't.
This!!!!!
Rainbow Surprise Baby due 05/26/2017
That's what I read when I saw the title, labia. Even weirder that it's for a boy...
Labia was the first thing I thought of too. Lol
Yep. Ugh.
My Ovulation Chart
I have no clue. I was told via text from my mother.
Are you sure your mother spelled it correctly? Or maybe her phone autocorrected it?
