My family is from the south and I want a good ole southern name for my son to be. Thinking about Timothy Wade. Sibling Annabelle Nicole. What do you think??
I am about as deep south as you can get (outside of New Orleans). Timothy doesn't scream southern, Wade, maybe. Now if you said something like Beau for a FN, then yes, that is definitely southern.

Timothy is my husbands name and he wants to pass it down
I live in NYC, but am originally from New Orleans. What about Tim Bob? I think Wade sounds Southern. Annabelle is a beautiful name, but it's so popular nationwide now that it doesn't scream Southern to me anymore.
I live in Southern Louisiana (Acadiana area). I think Timothy Bob would definately sound Southern. I like Wade as a middle name also.
I don't have any kids yet.
I believe if we had a daughter, my first choice would be Dahlia Anita(Anita being my great grandmom's name). If a boy, I would think Abbott Basil(e) (middle name was my great grandpa's name).
I'm from south GA My DD is Shelby Kate. I think Timothy Wade sounds southern. My FIL is actually Timothy and goes by Timmy. Naming your son, Timothy Wade with the nn Timmy Wade is very good ole boy to me Also, it's very southern to use your maiden name or your grandmother's maiden as a fn for a son or even a daughter.
I am from Kentucky, and my dad is named Timothy Wayne. He's always hated his name. He said Wayne sounds like a hillbilly and Timothy sounds like a gay hairdresser. Personally, I think Timothy Wade is very nice, but I just wanted to give you one guy's opinion of owning a very similar name.
I'm from Alabama, and I really don't see a lot of stereotypical Southern names around here. There are lots of Biblical names and trendy Aidan/Ava names in my area. I don't really get choosing a name because it sounds like a stereotypical name from a particular region of the country.

Wade sounds southern. Timothy doesn't, but I see you are passing your hubby's name down.

Congrats on your growing addition!!
Can you make Timothy the MN? Being from Texas, Timothy does not scream southern name to me. Now Mason, Brock, Dylan?.those are southern names. GL
I wouldn't consider Timothy southern, but Wade does ring a little southern to me. Annabelle could go either way.
Both are nice names except Annabelle Nicole made me think of Anna Nicole Smith.
