Hello Ladies

My name is Tailanis, I am 37 and expecting our second LO January 28th.  I have been lurking a lot the past couple of days and just decided to introduce myself and get to know each other better.

I went last week for a Genetic screening testing... and I received a call yesterday where they state that the numbers don't look good.  That there is a possibility of the baby having two type of conditions and they want me to do a CVS or Amnio. My husband and I talked it over and decided to go for the MaterniT21 blood test instead. I am trying hard to relax and not think about it but it's easier said than done. :(

    So sorry to hear things are looking a little less than perfect. That sucks.

    I'm sorry you're dealing with this.  It's not fun to say the least. Hopefully all works out well.

    I had a risk of downs and I did the amnio.  It was very scary for me because I was afraid of losing the baby but I needed to know.  He's fine thankfully.  My friend also had a 1 in 4 risk of downs and her baby was fine.  I hope the same for you. Good luck!
