When did your doc schedule you RCS?

This will be my thrid csection (my second scheduled), so i know when my doc will schedule mine. I was just curious when your docs all schedule yours?? Im only asking bc a friend of mine is having a RCS and shes only 6weeks along and is already asking her doc to schedule hers...ya i know lol. So im trying to get a general consensus of when everyone else found out

For my hospital, you have to be at least 32 weeks before they will put a c-section on the calendar. I'll be 31 weeks next week, and most likely will schedule this c=section (my 4th).

The hospital only schedules 8 weeks before...so I guess it is based on hospital not OB policy.

I chose to try for a vbac, but the rcs would have been scheduled for when I was 39 weeks.  Now when it actually would have been put on the books, I'm not sure.  The day would have been up to DH and I but I don't know how far out they'll actually schedule it.

#2 was scheduled at 18w.

#3 was scheduled at 20w.  My OB said he typically waits longer, but we were aiming for the Friday before a long weekend (Labor Day) and he wanted to be sure to get me on the schedule before it filled.

I'm not sure when we will schedule it but the doc said around 39 weeks it will be done. I am guessing we'll probably schedule it a month in advance? 

Asking to schedule at 6 weeks is really jumping the gun, IMO.

I'm waiting for hospital scheduling dept to call me back anytime now.  Not sure if it's going to be today or sometime this week.  I was hoping for a VBAC but it's not in the cards.

 This goes for me as well. I have my 30 week appt tomorrow so my next appt after that is my 32 week. My OB says we can set a date then. I'm getting excited!!

If I remember correctly, my dr. had mine scheduled by my end of April appt., which would have put me around 25 weeks.

My practice (which I think went by the hospital's policy) scheduled at 28 weeks, though I ended up scheduling mine a bit later, and then went into labor early, so yeah.  But 28 weeks.

I think it was 34 wks....he came at 37

Our hospital doesn't allow c-sections to put put on the doctors schedule until 32 weeks. And unless medical emergency they cannot be scheduled for any earlier than 39 weeks.

I'm 99.999% sure he said 28wks. So tomorrow I go for my glucose test, but scheduling the CS will make that nasty sugar water go down so much easier!!

My RCS was scheduled when I was 32w along.

My doc put it on the calendar at my 24w appointment, but told me it could still be changed up until my 32w appointment.  Office policy is to put it on the calendar at 28w, but since only 2 docs do c/s, and I had a preference for one over the other & that's the doc I saw that day, she went ahead and scheduled it for me.  I'll be 39w1d on my c/s date.

Surprisingly, a good couple months ago.  It was shortly after my midpregnancy ultrasound that I got the pre-surgery paperwork.  It's been hanging on my fridge since.  Seems weird to have it scheduled so early!  Maybe because September is a busy month for babies?
