Trouble Sleeping?

This insomnia is a cruel trick.

I am constantly exhausted. I'm normally not early to bed, but I have been in bed by 10 p.m. most nights recently. I fall asleep with no problem, but wake up between 2:00 and 3:00 a.m. and either am totally unable to fall back asleep or sleep fitfully for the rest of the night.

I do have occasional problems sleeping normally, but usually an occasional Ambien or a few nights of Melatonin are enough to get back on a good track.

Is there even anything that's safe to take that I can call and ask my doctor about, or is this just normal?

Re: Trouble Sleeping?

  • I'm having the same issue. A nytol is completely safe, per the FDA. I use them to help me get and stay asleep.

"You buy furniture. You tell yourself, this is the last sofa I will ever need in my life. Buy the sofa, then for a couple years you're satisfied that no matter what goes wrong, at least you've got your sofa issue handled. Then the right set of dishes. Then the perfect bed. The drapes. The rug. Then you're trapped in your lovely nest, and the things you used to own, now they own you.
