I just wanted to see what kind of parenting magazines you all like. I want to get one (and only one!), but there are quite a few choices. What are your suggestions?
If you visit www.parents.com you can probably get the best deal there. That is where I signed up. It's a great magazine loaded with great articles, advice, recipes, and coupons.
I read Parents for awhile, and I found it overly repetitive. I stopped reading it all together after they published a poorly researched article on cloth diapering. It's cheap, but still of waste of money, time, and mail box space in my opinion.
My favorite parenting magazine is Mothering. All of the others are cheaper, but are repetitive (as someone else pointed out) and have poorly researched and sometimes simply stupid articles. Sometimes there are some good or cute ideas, but for the most part, unless I can get the subscription for free, they are a waste. Mothering magazine is, of course, focused on more green living and a natural lifestyle and parenting style. But there are well-written, well-researched, and thorough articles about subjects that matter.
Re: Favorite Parenting Mags
LOL at time for reading magazines.
I actually like "Parenting." (Or is it "Parents"?) Just wish I had more time to read itParents Magazine

Ditto! Pretty much just need to get one issue, every issue of Parents magazine is pretty much the same.
My favorite, is the free magazine I get w/ my MOPS membership, called Momsense.
I know. Wishful thinking! I barely have time for my People now with no kids! Thanks for the input!
FWIW, I got a free subscription to Parents inside the packaging for my Boppy. Not sure if they still do that.
