I have never understood all of the love that Evan gets on this board. I think it's really boring. It's legit and there's nothing wrong with it, though. I just don't get it.
I voted for Oliver. (That's what we're using if this baby is a boy.) I don't think alliteration is always a bad thing. DS #1's name has it, and it sounds kind of awesome IMO. But it depends on the last name.

Evan Philip is great. Jackson and Oliver are a little overdone at the moment.
I agree. Jackson has been in the top 100 over the last 10 years and was #23 most popular last year - I bet this year it will be 20 or under (according to the SS web-site). I do like Oliver and Evan though!

I voted for Evan. I may be biased because it is my brother's name but I have always loved it and I think I would still love it as much even if it wasn't in the family. All of your names are cute, however, I feel that the names ending in N seem to flow better with Philip than your names ending in R.
Middle name will be Philip after my father. Last name starts with an O. DD is Grace.
I love Jackson and Evan - DH is on the fence with all of them - shouldn't there be a rule like you have the baby you get to name them?!
I keep telling DH the same thing about having/naming the baby. It really should be a rule! I voted for Carter. I love that name. All of the names on your list are good. The only one that I wouldn't go for would be Jackson because it's so popular right now.
I voted for Evan. These names are really NMS, though. To me, Jackson, Oliver and Carter sound cute for little boys, but I have a hard time picturing those names on a grown man. They're too cutesy for me.
