Last night one the 1st trimester board I posted I was having terrible cramps and light brown blood. I went to my doctors appt this morning expecting the worse but instead getting the most amazing news. We are having twins. I am in shock honestly. There are no twins in either of our families so this is just amazing! So I guess this my intro to multiples.

    Me: 32 - Stage II Endo / DH: 36 - Low count and morphology (1%)
    IUIs 1-3 BFN, lap Dec. 2010, IUIs 4-6 BFN
    IVF w/ICSI #1 - ER 2/8: 24R 19M 9F ET 2/13 2-5 day blasts (no frosties) = BFP - b/g twins!

    Congrats!  I know how it feels to expect to get bad news and get double good news.  I was 12 weeks at my first OB appt when she couldn't find the hb with the dopplar and sent me for an u/s.  Very scary but a few minutes later and we saw two wiggly babies on the screen!  Its definitely an awe-struck moment.  GL!

    I had nearly the same experience!  Congratulations and welcome!  It takes some time for the news to sink in.  I'm hoping to be totally adjusted to the idea by their second birthday. :-)

    Here's an early welcome to the "Oh crap, why did I have to find out so early?" club! lol I found out in week 6, too, and the last 5 weeks have been the longest ones of my friggin life!!! Congratulations :)

    Congrats...we found out in a very similar way at 12 weeks...but I think it takes the whole pregnancy for it to really sink in!

    About me  2007: Started TTC. 2008: OB prescribed clomid, went to RE and was Dx with PCOS. 2009: IUI #1 w/follitsim and trigger = BFP. B/G Twins born at 33 weeks. 2012: TTC #3, Round 2 of Letrozole w/TI = BFP, missed m/c at 8 1/2 wks. Currently on the bench as we make plans for a new home. Anxious to start TTC #3 within the next year!
