I'm not usually a fan of the MTV pregnancy/baby shows but there is a new one called Baby High that is really interesting. It's about a high school designed especially for pregnant & parenting teens - there's a clinic, daycare, & parenting classes in addition to a normal school curriculum. The school bus even has special built-in carseats.

I like that this show focuses on the girls continuing to better themselves through education, figuring out how to accomplish all the additional goals they have in life, & enabling them to enjoy the blessing of having a child without letting it steer them off track or use it as an excuse to be irresponsible. It definately does not glorify being a teen mom, but is a very positive message.

I wish they aired more episodes as well. Great concept. Love it.

I've never seen it. I think it sounds really strange, and it's hard to wrap my mind around it not glorifying teen pregnancy, but on the other hand, it's excellent that there are programs like that that offer teen moms (and their babies) an actual chance to be successful.
