What to Expect - First OB

My appointments have been a little different because we ae working with a fertility clinic.  My first ultra sound is tomorow at the fertility clinic (yay) and then I was referred to an OB for all my appointments after tomorrows ultrasound.

Question is:  What can I expect from my first OB appointment?

Not sure if you have had an ultrasound yet but at my 7-8 week appt I always get an ultrasound, internal ultrasound.  Surprising if you aren't expecting it :-)

My first ob appt usually takes place around 7 weeks and includes an U/S, bloodwork and a general gyno appointment that includes a pap, breast exam, etc.

I second the pps. I also got some general questions about my plans for delivery and of course any questions/concerns I have. He also gave me a list of OTC medication in 3 columns (ok to take while pregnant, call me before taking, don't take).

A weigh in, a check over medical history, you'll be given a bunch of papers to read, you might get an ultrasound (oo wait, I just noticed you do get one, woo hoo), a possible pap smear and cervical check, and you will be able to ask questions. Have fun!
