Most vitamins make me nauseous and I have a hard time swallowing large pills, so my prenatals, calcium & fiber supplements are all gummy. But, my OB told me today that I'm anemic and need to take an iron supplement. I googled but don't see anything in gummy form.
Any suggestions for something that is easy to swallow and easy on the stomach (I realize this may vary by person)?
Re: Iron supplements
This was what I was recommended. I take the store brand bc they are cheaper and I haven't had any problems with constipation or them making me sick like the other supplements. They are the size of the red ibuprofen tablets
This is what I use. Mix it in with a little orange juice and you're good to go. Can't even taste the iron supplement.
I use Solgar brand "Gental Iron". They don't use a lot of extra fillers/binders/crap in their vitamins like many companies do. The "Gental Iron" is powered and encapsulated in a capsule.
