I just received a call from my doctor's office letting me know that I needed to go in on Thursday for a Level 2 ultrasound to their other practice at the hospital (where I had my NT scan - they have better machines). I just had my anatomy scan last week and no one told me about this appointment (which I would have appreciated, especially since I need to get off work now). The nurse said that the doctor requested it this week. I asked her if there was something wrong but she gave me a vague answer.
So now i'm freaking out... Did the doc see something of concern? or is this just routine?
I noticed that at my A/S the tech did not tell me things like how much the baby weighed or the height or any info (she wasn't very vocal). Could it be she didnt get it all and this Level 2 US is to get those measurements?
Have any of you had a Level 2 after the A/S? is this normal?
Re: Mildly freaking out - Another A/S? or is something wrong?
It's nice they had an opening so soon! My brain would be in a tizzy imagining things as well. They're going to be vague, which is frustrating, but have heard of similar situations from fuzzy images or being a bit off on the due date estimate,
Try to stay distracted ... lunch with a friend, date night with SO? Bring SO if you can Thursday (if unavailable, parent, or friend). If you're like me, not knowing /being unsure is the worst so some support or a hand to hold beforehand can help with a bit of comfort.

Thank you ladies, I'm praying and keeping it in my head that it's probably nothing serious and just for more accurate measures. DH has the day off so he'll be there.
On the bright side, i'm excited to see my little princess again
I would call and ask! No wY should you have to be worried if its nothing. Just call your OB and ask if you are having another because they are concerned about something or just because they need some more measurements.
It's your body and your baby, you have the right to know!

I have to go back in another week or so to have another ultra sound done because they said the baby's position during my AS made it impossible to get all the measurements they needed.
I would assume that's the same situation and try not to worry.
it could be anything, maybe the tech messed up the measurements or there were unclear pictures or heck, they could have misplaced your results.
call them and have them set you at ease. I bet it's nothing to worry about.
