Fetal Heart Rate - 188

I have been seeing so much conflicting information about fetal heart rate I am curious if anyone else had an ultrasound done at 9-10 weeks and also have a high fetal heart rate. 

Someone posted this chart but I don't know the source.  I was told that 140-180 is normal and 188 is out of the normal range so my doctor is recommending that I see a fetal cardiologist.  I hate unnecessary worry because I actually think that 188 may not be that unusual (at least based upon some posts I've seen on here) just curious others experience...

at 9w5d the heartrate was 178 my RE said it was perfect.

ETA the high for 9w is 195.  Why would 188 be high?

8w6d and the baby's HR was 178 the first reading and 180 the second.  Dr. didn't think anything was out of the ordinary.

Mine was 181 and the doctor had no concern.

I thought it was after 12 weeks that if the hr was over 180 then it was outside of the normal range (which fits the chart you put up). Try not to stress. Sounds like your doctor is being overly cautious.

I appreciate all the posts.  From what I can tell I will choose to think that unless I am beyond 12 weeks 188 shouldn't be an issue.  I blame overzealous radiologists trained to find abnormalities!!

I am with a MFM practice, and they haven't even measured mine yet.  I asked the doc about it today and he was just like "Meh, it sounds like about 160 or 170."  So therefore I assume that the actual number is not that important at this stage.

I had one at 8 weeks with my last pregnancy and her heart rate was 186 bpm. Nobody seemed to think it was anything to be concerened about.

I had my ultrasound at 9 weeks. My baby's hb was 184. I asked the tech if that was within normal range and she said it was, and that she had seen them in the 200's. The doc didn't seem concerned either.

At my 9 week ultrasound the HB was 185 and said to be perfect. I believe earlier in pregnancy a faster HB is normal and later on the HB should be lower a little. I think seeing a cardiologist sounds ridiculous, especially this early in the game when so much can change.

At 5w6d my LOs HR was already 138 (2wks high by the chart above) & at 10w0d was 170. Neither doctor showed any concern whatsoever.

Im glad u posted this i hadnt seen the chart before. Today was my first ultrasound and heartrate reading at 12 weeks (very exciting!) they said the fetal HR was 175. Keep us posted!
