Does your LO pull up and then not hold on?

DS has given me at least 50 heart attacks in the last few days. He pulls up on the cube, toy box, etc and then starts waving his hands or reaching for toys. DD was never like this--she was very cautious.  I am spending most of my day being his spotter!

She'll pull up and let go, using her belly to hold her up.  She only really does this on the couch or in her crib though.  I think she can tell that her music table isn't sturdy enough.

A few times she has let go all together and stood.  That only lasts a couple of seconds though.

It must be because the few times he has fallen, he cries for a minute and then goes right back and does it again!! DD learned from it.

yes! She use to be careful but then she got braver and stopped holding on. Now she pulls herself up without holding onto anything

Violet has lots of padding.  She stands up then falls back down again and again and again on purpose she thinks it is a blast.

Yes!!! She's gotten much more steady over time. She can now stand unassisted for minutes at a time, but has no interest in taking any steps.

E is just getting brave enough to let go when she pulls up.

Another "brave" little girl over here.  She doesn't do it all the time, though.  But she's also starting to try to let go while walking and she's nowhere close to balanced enough.
