Nightmares!

...I haz them. Nothing baby-related, just really terrifying nightmares. I've always been a VERY vivid dreamer and had night terrors as a child, but they've really ramped up lately. Last night I had a particularly horrible one, woke up from it all scared, and then must not have been totally awake because I saw this huge MONSTER THING run in my bedroom door, hop up on my bedside table and look out my window. I screamed at the top of my lungs because I thought it was real! Then it was gone and I was totally awake.

Scary.

Anyone else having crazy dreams?

I was having super crazy dreams, now not so much.  We took our dog to the breeders a few weeks ago and I kept waking up in a panic that I had rows of breasts up and down my front.  My husband said lets just pray we don't have a litter.  I told my Dr. and she got quite a kick out of it.

My dreams are super vivid. Some involve the baby and some are just weirdness. I think I read somewhere that it's the progesterone coursing through our blood.

 Pregnancy sure does some weird things! It's beautiful, It's magical, it's TERRIFYING! Do you ever just sit and think about how bizarre pregnancy really is? There are someone else's eyeballs inside me right now. o_O

Yes. I just said this to a friend... I feel possessed, not a bad thing, but still weird. My body is not my own.

Oh my gosh! I am getting these nightly! I always wake up in a cold sweat. I also get particularly scared before I go to bed. Last night I was bawling to my husband about everything I'm afraid of. Not sure how normal that is, but it drives me crazy. Why can't I just calm down?

I actually feel mine are about the same, or maybe even less frequent. I've always been a very vivid dreamer! I did have a nightmare last night where I had an ultrasound done and we discovered there was a hand growing out of the baby's head.

YES!  It was one of the first things that made me feel pregnant - I rarely remember my dreams, and for the first month or two, I had vivid nightmares EVERY night.  They're not as frequent now and have calmed down some, but for awhile I was losing sleep because they freaked me out so much!
