Re: 3T Weekly Check-In
No real update here. Life has been super crazy. Still contemplating an IUI before the year is over.
QOTW: I don't really have a favorite author, but my favorite books are the Harry Potter series.
Dx PCOS (June 2006, re-confirmed March 2012), Anemia (May 2010-Still fighting to correct it), Fibromyalgia (May 2011)
Initial b/w - normal
HSG (March 2012) revealed right tube open and looking great. Left tube deformed with hydrosalpinx.
Lap (April 2012) Removal of left fallopian tube. Right tube open and viable, but "rather enlarged." NO evidence of endometriosis...Uterus looks beautiful and "very capable" of carrying a pregnancy!
October 2012 - Clomid 50mg + trigger + IUI = BFN
With all factors taken into account, RE is recommending IVF. Planning on moving forward with treatment as a single woman using DS by Summer 2013.

Morning, ladies.
I have my post-op appointment with the RE tomorrow, so he'll be going over our treatment plans for the next few cycles. He did talk about adding injects, so that's probably where we're headed, along with IUI #2.
I'm a huge fan of memoirs, so obviously the authors vary. I did just read My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick, and that was really good!
No real update here. Just waiting for SA #3 results (with additional DNA frag testing) to come back so we know whether or not DH's uro will "officially" recommend varicocele repair surgery.
QOTW: I don't read much, but I just got through The Hunger Games triology. Can't say that I loved it, but it was certainly entertaining.
Update: IVF #1 is complete and beta is Thursday. I'm a wreck thinking that it failed. (hate myself for not being more positive
Favortie Book - The Girl With the Dragon Tatoo

QOTW: James Patterson, Any of his Alex Cross series.
The last few Tuesdays have been crazy for me. I am glad to finally have a moment to check in here.

4) What treatments have you done? One injects IUI - BFN, in 2ww of 2nd injects IUI.
Update: In the 2ww of IUI#2. Still 10 days to wait until my beta. I am feeling hopeful but the doubt is beginning to wiggle its way in for me.
QOTW: My favorite author would probably be JK Rowling. It's so hard to choose one, but I loved the entire HP series enough to give her that title.
My favorite book of all time is To Kill a Mockingbird. I read it for the first time a very long time ago and have re-read it more times than I can count.

QOTW: How do I just pick one author?! I love to read, mostly inspirational novels. If I had to pick one, I'd pick Beverly Lewis.
just had my monitoring appointment for IUI#3. I have to follies on each side, 17mm each. They didn't trigger today, want me to come back tomorrow and will probably do it then. That means IUI on Thursday & Friday.
Keeping fingers crossed since this is last IUI before moving to injectables (which i'm pretty scared of).

Update:
My monitoring appointment is later today. I'm hoping for at least one nice, mature follie so I can trigger tonight and have my IUI done before my birthday (Saturday).
QOTW: I can't pick just one. Top two are Margaret Atwood and Diana Gabaldon. My favorite book of all time is The Giver by Lois Lowry (yes, it's a children's book), but my recent favorite is the entire Outlander series.
No worries, Sarah! I hope you are doing ok!
Update- No treatment this cycle because my lap is going to be August 7th! I'm a little nervous about it, but I should be fine

Good morning! I would love to be added to the weekly check-in.
I'm Alicia, DH and I started trying for a family on May of 2011.
No diagnosis from RE, all tests came back OK. HSG is clear, SA good, bloodwork/ultrasound good. Just started Metformin Friday of last week. Will be doing this for this cycle, next we will do Metformin and Clomid.
My favorite Author is Nora Roberts and I am very into the Boonsboro series right know!
Yay! We have an update this week
We're moving onto IVF with ICSI in September.
My favorite book is probably The Giver which I read back in 6th grade but still consider to be one of the best books of all time. As far as author's go, I love, love, LOVE Mary Roach. She's hilarious. She writes non-fiction in a very funny way. Her book, Bonk, is subtitled "The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex" and I recommend to EVERYONE for awesome summer, beach reading [:-)]
TTC #1 since October 2010 | Began Testing in January 2012
DH SA - low motility with 0% morph; varicocele (repaired); low T (on Clomid)
IVF w/ICSI (long Lupron w/ Repronex and Follistim) in September 2012
1) What is your name (if you want to share)?Mrsfaz2b
2) When did you start TTC (month/year)? march 2012 baby 2
3) What is your diagnosis, if you have one? PCOS
4) What treatments have you done? femara, ovidrel trigger and TI
I just received a BFP a few days ago. I am cautiously optimistic since I had a chemical pregnancy in March and you just never know when you have IF. I still need to get a beta and progesterone draw. I wanted to send my support to everyone on this board since I have appreciated the responses from the questions I have asked. IF sucks, especially when it seems like noone else is going through it (except those on the board).
QOTW: What's your favorite author? Favorite book? Nora Roberts, sucker for romance novels
I hope everything goes well today and the results come back quickly!
TTC#1 since 5/2011
DX: Hypothyroidism, PCOS, Myasthenia Gravis, Aplastic Anemia, one copy MTHFR DH SA: count 52% motility (slow progressive), 0% normal morph

PAIF/SAIF welcome!
Update: Beginning Clomid + injects cycle. First pill today (cd 3-7) monitoring appt. on cd12.
Favorite author of all time: J. R. R. Tolkien. I love fantasy books, movies, games, etc. and the world that Tolkien created in his books really set the standard.
Currently reading: A Dance With Dragons by George R. R. Martin. It's the 5th book in the "Song of Fire and Ice" series and it's pretty fantastic. It's still not on the same level as Tolkien (who was so dedicated he created his own language...among other things) but it is the best I have ever read besides Tolkien.
Funny, I just realized both authors have middle initials "R.R."....
3rd cycles clomid + Ovidrel = BFN
4th cycles letrozole/Ovidrel + IUI = BFN
IVF #1 = BFP! Twins due 2/5/2014
Update: Today is CD1. We'll probably stick with injects, supps, trigger, and IUI. But who am I kidding, I'll have cysts on both ovaries and have to sit out a month. Lather, rinse, repeat.
QOTW: Hmmm, this is tough. I love Jane Austen (closet romantic), Nicholas Sparks, CS Lewis, and JK Rowling. Favorite books either Pride and Prejudice or The HP series. Oddly enough, my favorite genre is probably murder mystery/suspense.

3) What is your diagnosis, if you have one? everything seems to be good. unexplained IF

No real update here... still in 2ww and testing tomorrow. I tested yesterday and got a BFN but it was still a little early - at least I know the trigger is out. I'm feeling pretty meh about this cycle though so we'll see. I finally learned to ignore phantom symptoms since they seem to be caused by the progesterone. And I'm getting tired of the progesterone suppositories. *sigh*
QOTW: I can't really pick a favorite author or book...
QOTW: What's your favorite author? Favorite book?I love Janet Evanovitch - Stephanie Plum Series.
