I was wondering how many people have actually tried the trial and liked it? It's confusing the way they write it, so you return all the diapers after 21 days then order the ones you like? Any info on the trial would be appreciated.

I used it and liked it. At the end of the trial you keep the diapers you want and send back everything else. Once they get your returns, they credit back your card(minus the fees). I got my refund quickly and was happy with the program. They send a detailed list of all the diapers with wash instructions. Good luck!

I'm doing it now.  I think it's great.  I just realized yesterday that I can be choosy with what I want to keep, so that's pretty darn cool!  I was on the fence too, but very glad I did it.

Also, you can get the diapers with plenty of time before your baby is here. LO is due September 6th, but I ordered the trial in June and they sent them right away (I think we got them three days after ordering and we are down the coast).

It's also 21 days of use. When I talked to a lady on the phone, I told her we might not cloth diaper until week 2 and she told me just to put down September 20th and use for 21 days after that.

You'll probably want/need either disposables or other CDs because 13 would mean washing every single day.

we used it for the newborn size because I didn't want to buy a separate stash and also wanted to make sure I liked CD first.

I also bought a dozen orange prefolds from GMD (figuring I could use them as burp cloths later) and was able to have enough to wash every other day
