anyone have a bfp with blue dye?

I took a test yesterday 11 DPO and it was positive. Today took a pink dye test and its negative. anyone else have this happen and still pregnant?

I wouldn't trust a + on a blue dye. Keep testing with pink dye until you get a + or your period. If you hit CD60, call your doctor.

If the test line was BLUE and appeared before the 10 minute mark, it was likely an early positive - false positives where the *dye* appears on the test line is almost impossible. 

If it was a GRAY or YELLOW line that appeared after the 10 minute mark, it was an evap line and probably negative. This is a line that appears due to the test line drying, it is NOT a false positive - just a user error in reading the test strip.

TB has made me question blue dye tests. I would use a pink dye test.

I don't think I am trusting it either. Its definitely not an evap line. Its blue and appeared within 1 minute. Hopefully AF will show soon. thanks ladies and congrats on your BFPs!

This. The women on TTGP were pretty adamant blue dye tests had a higher false positive rate than pink. I only used FRER.

I had a false positive a few months ago with a blue dye. I tried a pink dye the next day. Followed by a couple more pink dyes in the days to follow, all negative and started my period shortly after that. Blue dyes are the devil. I will never test with those again, ever.

My line on the blue dye test also showed up within 2 minutes of taking the test too. So it was definitely a false positive.
