I don't think Dorian is a feminine name at all. I, too, think of Dorian Gray.

Except for the book, I've never heard it used on a boy or a girl. I think you're safe using it on a boy. It's not popular enough (on either sex) to be a "switch-over," and the only association people (should) have with it is Dorian Gray.
I don't think it is feminine at all. Definitely think of Dorian Grey...and in my book, that isn't positive (he's not really a character I'd want to be named after).

It's not feminine at all- just like Adrian, Julian, Lucian, Fabian, etc are not feminine names either.

I think it could go both ways. I think both Dorian Gray and Dorian Lord from All My Children (female character).
We have a male friend named Doran so I think of that as more masculine.
