Seriously. Every time I mention a name to him, whether it's one that I really like, or one that I think he might like he always says no, or we have time to think about that. Well when would you like to figure that out honey?? When the social security ppl are in the hospital waiting on us to spit some name out so we can get a birth cert????
He has NO suggestions. NONE. I have a girl name that I'm dying to use, but he's not on board with it and I don't have any good ideas for a boy name. If this baby gets here and we have no names picked out for either sex...we're going to play a game called "I Win", where whatever I decide goes because I just spent 40 weeks cooking this little one. Grrrrr!

Re: Done having the name discussion w/DH...
What makes it doubly hard is that we're team green. Last time we were as we'll but I had a really strong feeling DS was a boy. So we had one boy name and 10 girl names. This time I'm lost on a boy name. DH is so frustrating!
That's my favorite game! LOL
Love it! Haha.
My DH married me knowing the name of our first child was not up for debate. I decided years ago what I wanted & told him he could just deal with it... and pick out the middle name. We are also Team Green so he picked a girl MN (not my favorite but I did agree to let him choose) and a boy MN (absolutely love this one!). As it is, if we have a girl, I'll be using the first name & he's said he'll just call her by her MN anyway
I sure hope this baby is a girl because we can't think of any boy names we want! It's not even that we argue about it. We just can't think of one. Which is really weird because for yearsssssss we have jokingly called our baby "jeremy" even though I wasn't pregnant. Now we don't want it.
We have about 5 girls first names picked (6 if you count mya which hubby likes but it's not my fav)
Once we know the sex we will work on a list. No matter what we won't name baby until we meet him/her. That's how all of my siblings and myself were named as well as DH. It's what my family has done with every pet too. We like to observe first and chose a name that suits

I agree!
disagree! I have a very good friend whose wife announced to him that the name was either going to be X for a girl or Y for a boy. They are having serious marital problems, and I don't think that helped him feel like she valued his opinion much at all.
my DH wants the middle name to be Rowdy.
NO WAY.
