If the insert gets too saturated, will there start to be leaks through the PUL? I would think I just have a couple bad diapers, but I am having issues with mulitple diapers getting wet around the leg holes (but not just wicking) and they are fuzzibunz, kawaii, and bumgenius dipes that this is happening with..
So do covers get wet if the baby is a heavy wetter? Or if it is working correctly should the cover never get wet? I can't tell if I just need to mess around with inserts or if I need new diapers.
Re: Leaking through PUL?
The only time I've experienced leaks through the PUL around the legs is when:
? I haven't been putting the diaper on tight enough
? There isn't enough absorbency and he leaks right through the inserts and out the legs
? The pin-holes in the PUL start to leak, in which case I threw the covers in the dryer on hot to re-seal the PUL.
It's hard to tell, I would definitely try a few different things before getting new diapers.
Yes, if the insert is too saturated you definitely can have leaks.
Are your diapers on tight enough? Is the rise snapped down enough so there are no gaps? I've heard a lot of women needed to go back down in rise after their LO started moving a lot and they slimmed down.
