Another EC based question... Anyone rec a good training potty? We went to look at Target but none of them stuck out to me. They were all themed (cars, dora) which I don't want.
TIA!

I like the Cushie Tushie seat at Wal-Mart. It goes on top of the regular potty. I don't like the separate potties because I hate cleaning them out. By 3mo, my kids' butts fit on the CT seat, as long as I'm holding on to them still. They've all been 12+lbs at 3mo and have pretty chubby bums.

Baby Bjorn. It was the first potty that J. could use (sit on and get off) by himself. We had a couple others that took longer for him to manage (they required more scooting back onto them which was hard for him).
We love the Prince Lionheart weepod Basix (there are 2 versions, an expensive one and a cheaper version which are basically the same). We got the $20 one and it works great (suction cups to the toilet and is easy to remove).
For around the house we have the bambino mio potty which is basically the same little potty as the ikea one, the baby bjorn little potty, etc. They worked well until my little guy learned to crawl off, thats where the big toilet seat came in.
Re: Rec your training potty for EC
We also have a toilet seat insert.
I like having both.
More Green For Less Green
I have my eye on a plain white one by baby bjorn. Who knew they made more than carriers?
