I saw a couple photos this weekend of women with tattoos over thier c-secton scars. This idea kind of appeals to me, maybe a tattoo dedicated to my kids ( when we are all done).
This is the one tattoo that I would be willing to get if I had to have a c-section. I'm not really a tattoo person, but if I am going to have a scar anyway, I would definitely consider it. I would probably want it to be meaningful about my kids or a reminder about the strength I have inside me that I sometimes forget about. Pregnancy really reminded me of that. Maybe a mix of both my kids and the strength reminder...

I like the idea of getting the babies footprints over the C-section scar.
I have a needle *thing*, so tattoos are not an option for me, but I really like the idea of having a tattoo symbolizing your children. It's the one thing that I think is permanent enough that it makes sense to have it permanently inked onto your body.

I totally have a needle thing, too! I would have to really, really want that tattoo. Or be incredibly drunk and strapped down...which would seem to take away from the meaning of the tattoo...

I like the idea and I might do it if I ever have to have a c section! My only concern is that area has the potential to get fat/droopy and so I'm not sure I'd be able to handle that. I'd definitely consider something in honor of my kids though.
I think I'd like one when I'm done having kids and BFing on my scar. I have a horizontal c-section scar from pelvic bone through my belly button because they had to use an old incision and couldn't intersect. I think I would want something like Kristen mentioned like a remind of strength that we all have and something for my children.

I'm getting his footprint next to my gnarly csection scar from where my Dr botched it so I stop getting upset when I look at it and start smiling. MOSTLY sold on the footprint but I'm worried about the next csection, and if it'll stretch as I age and totally negate having the exact print.. def something though! I also heard of getting the sonogram heartbeat
