Thanks for thinking of me.  Things are much better.  Not long after that happened, DH had the opportunity to step into a different role at work (promotion, yay!), which he happily accepted.  He no longer works with her on a daily basis. 

As far as I know, they haven't been in touch since.  She did send him an apology text a few days after everything happened.  She is now back with her abusive husband.  I'm not going to completely dismiss it, but I think DH now realizes he needs to be more careful.

I know it's easy to think the worst, but DH is just that clueless.  For instance, last year he had a young guy working for him who got a DUI.  DH helped drive him to work occasionally and also didn't fire him when he had spend time in jail for a few weeks.  A few months later, he got caught stealing from the company.  DH was trying to do something good, show this kid that people are willing to help him, but in the end didn't make a difference.
