a little help...kinda long

i'll try to keep it short...background, 9 month old son has always slept in our rm. w/an occassional nap in his crib in his rm.  this was fine until ds & i went on vacation for a wk. & he slept in a twin bed w/me. when we came home, he continued to sleep with me. dh had already been sleeping on the couch a lot due to getting up early for work & not wanting to wake us. so it's been about a month that we've been home & his naps are taken in our bed as well, so i can't leave the rm. while he's sleeping. we have window air units in the house but not in the nursery. i ebf so i'm considering just moving his crib into our rm. for the duration of these hot summer months & until he's weaned. i'm not @ all prepared to let him cio, so that's not an option right now anyway. any advice? thanks!

  • Any advice for what?  Moving his crib into your room?  Do what works for you.

  • yes, i'd start with that at least.  try to get him to sleep in the crib bit by bit and hopefully he'll be fine to sleep on his own in a few months.  it's so tough, with my first we bed shared til 10m.  he started kicking the crap out of us in his sleep at that point so we had to sleep train him into his crib.  good luck, i hope he turns a corner soon!

Advice for what?  You told us your situation, but didn't say what about it that you wanted to change.
