When did your LO start sleeping longer stretches? How old were they? I remember with my first it was 7.5 weeks, and I am praying that this one is similar because I am so exhausted lol. Also, when they started sleeping longer, did they sleep later? My LO wakes up anywhere between 2 and 4am for the first time and then only sleeps for 2 hours after that, waking every 2 hours until about 6 or 7am when its harder to get her back to sleep for more than an hour. I don't remember if it was like this with my first, but I think it may have been. I wouldn't mind the getting up the first time if she would go back down for another 3-4 hours instead of 1 or 2! She is 6 weeks old right now...
Re: When did your LO start sleeping longer at night? (more than 4 hours)
Mine started this week, at 6w2d, out of the blue. She had been going 4 hours pretty regularly, and then the next thing I knew, she went from 12:45am to 6:30am. It scared the crap outta me when I woke up that morning, not having had a middle of the night wake up call.
The second night I bumped up the time 30 minutes, and got the same result, down around 12:15 and up at 6:30. Last night was the 3rd night, and she went down from 11pm to nearly 6am. I am just hoping it lasts and optimistically looking forward to the day when she starts sleeping 8+ hours, especially once I return to work.

Ours are 9 1/2 weeks and last night did a 9 hour stretch. We fed them at 9pm and put them down and didn't hear anything from them until 6! They are 5 weeks adjusted age with being early.
PS Love your daughers name, Amber Rose is my name too!
That's so cool! We love the name, we've gotten a LOT of compliments on it!
My daughter is 5 weeks adjusted age, so that's why I'm hoping that around 7 weeks (her 6 week adjusted age) she starts sleeping longer. The first stretch is fine, it's just the following stretches. She seems to be "up" for the day around 6:30a, which is hard for me right now lol! I'm just not used to it, my 3 year old sleeps until 8-9am most mornings so the 6:30a is killing me! haha!
