They both technically have the same meaning according to Behind the Name. Keira is the English spelling and Kiera is the Irish spelling. Which spelling would you prefer?

I like Keira but I have a Meika so that alone probably swayed my answer :]

I like the "EE" "AH" sound I guess (mee kah)   (keer ah) 

Kiera seems like it would be  (ki er ah) IMO.  I could be wrong but thats just how I read it / said it in my head.  

Just depends on how you'd like to to sound I guess.

This is my name and people most often assume it's spelled Keira, even though it's spelled Keara (please don't pick this spelling! -- No one ever spells my name right.). I think you'll have the fewest pronunciation issues with Keira. The spelling Kiera might make some pronounce it "key-AIR-uh."

That's how you pronounce my name but it's spelled Kyeara.

My cousin spells her name Chira - it's the phonetic Italian spelling (Chi sounds like key)

OP, I voted for Kiera, but I just wanted to add that this is my OB's name, but she spells it Kyra, which I think is really pretty.
