Will people always remember them?

Ok, ever since I was little I wanted to name my daughter Destinee if I had a girl. Well the problem is when I got married I took my husbands name "childs". Obviously destinys child was a band.mwould that stop you from using the name or do you think that anyone will even remember them in a few years? Thanks.

ETA: Have you thought about any MNs yet? Something like Hope or Faith or Nevaeh would go nicely.

Chances are their friends won't know about Destinys Child, but every one of their moms will. If that bothers you then play safe and find something new. If not rock the name but be ready for some comments down the road...

OMG, when someone wants to name their imaginary baby a stripper's name and give it a cutesy spelling, the fact that she loves it is so not all that matters. If this were a real person that would be terrible advice.

Totes great point.  How about you name your daughter Destinee Child, and you name your daughter's daughter Destinee's Child.
