This seems like it could happen in any washer, but if it matters, I'm using a portable one. I decided today was the day to wash all my covers so I can finally put them away. I tossed the PW wet bag/pail liner in there as well, and this happened:
That blue cone there is the corner of the bag. I did everything I could think of: I started out by squeezing it from the bottom up before I even put it in, to try to minimize air that would be trapped. Then I noticed this happening, so I stopped the wash and squeezed the air out again, and buried it under all the covers. It just worked its way back up again.
Is this a common issue? Should I worry or not worry about it, especially once the bag is actually being used for dirty diapers? ...am I just seriously failing at washing this dang bag?

Ditto! Happens here too but everything still comes clean. Just watch out for the water that sometimes gets trapped in the bag. I've dumped it all over myself plenty of times when taking everything out the washer lol
