Re: Where do you normally begin?
I suggest picking up a book like Adoption for Dummies. It'll outline the different routes you can take, things to consider, etc. We also have some FAQs at the top of the page that might be helpful to you. There are tons of different ways to adopt, and they all have their own requirements, costs, etc.
I believe if you do embryo adoption you have to do a homestudy like you do with any other kind of adoption, but that would be something to discuss with your RE office.
