Today is my due date, and to celebrate the occasion I had a biophysical profile in addition to my regular OB appointment.
The good news is that medically speaking, there is no reason right now that my Dr would want to induce before 42 weeks. This is good news for me as I would like to do this birth with no interventions. But with my 2 vessel cord and AMA, I get to get the works in monitoring to allow for me to go past the 40 week mark by much.
I signed up for a repeat biophysical ultrasound and OB appointment for 1 week from now, and an NST and OB appointment 1 and a half weeks from now. Let's hope I don't need any of these appointments! But something tells me that this one is going to cook as long as possible.
