Obama is an exceptional writer. Two of our best Presidents (IMO) have been exceptional writers -- Jefferson and Lincoln. Yeah, Presidents can always get someone to write for them, but I think being a natural writer also requires an innate sense of logic and analytical ability.
Plus his speeches will be far easier to listen to than Bush.
Re: Something I admire about Obama
A speech from wow wow wubbzy would be easier to listen to than W.
But I agree - and I think that helps make him a better speaker, because he already knows what he's trying to say and can think on his feet. He's not just reading teleprompters blindly with no clue how to speak unscripted.
You should read "Dreams from My Father." It's excellent.
FWIW most modern Presidents have written books, but most of them don't actually do much of their own writing. Clinton is a decent writer, but used a ghostwriter for most of his autobiography. Carter has written several books, but they aren't that good.

The word "nuclear" never sounded so good, huh?
Exactly! I also love that he'd not an arrogant intelligent person. He is great at picking the right people to guide him, which means even if he doesn't have the right experience in every situation, he will surround himself with people who do.
