I am already thinking about having another child after this one (my first). Anyone else considering having another child although we are older than 35? I'll be 37 or older if I do with the second child.

My DH and I are wanting at least 2 more after this LO (our first as well). Hoping that we all stay healthy enough to make that happen. I say if you are feeling good enough while pregnant to say that you'd like to do it again...may you be blessed with more babies.
I just turned 40 and this will be my first. I am one and done but that's not because of my age. I think if you are up for it, then you should go for it!
I'll be 37 when LO arrives (our first). We would like to have a 2nd. Which means we may be visiting the RE again in the future and hoping that the same protocol works for us again.
Thanks for the posts ladies! It is very encouraging especially when most people I know have teenagers already by my age, seriously. One of my younger friends told me I should have two more and I thought, "No!" but hearing these, anything is possible. I think I always wanted two though. Glad to hear your stories here.

I am 38. This is our first, but if all continues to go well...I am thinking I may be one and done. This decision will not be age related though. This baby was an "oops" baby. I never planned to have kids. Notice I said "thinking I may be one and done." Anything can happen and I am not completely ruling out the possibility of another.
Well, I just turned 41, I've had 3 after 35. we are pretty sure this is our last - just cause I'm getting tired and the house is getting full. But, if we felt led, we'd have another one.
I have a 14 year old, and last year had another baby at the age of 35 (days before turning 36) and now with this one I am 37. Go for it. But this is going to be it for us.
DH and I arent' sure if we will have another or not. I would like to try to give DH the DD he's always wanted, but the poor facts of the matter are that A: I'm not getting any younger, and B: we just don't think we can afford a 3rd. % months ago I was ready to have the tubes tied... but DH has decided he doesn't want me to do that, it's too "permanent" so I'll go the IUD route until we are SURE... if we decide against any future attempts, DH will get the big V.
Maybe it's where I live (NorCal), but I know very few people who were done having kids by 35. It doesn't even phase me that a woman would START a family in her late 30s. I am on the late side for sure, but anytime in your 30s? Go for it!

Exactly the same for me!

I say go for it! :-)
I turn 35 a month before my EDD with this one (#2). I was 32 when I had my first.
We're thinking about going for #3 and if we do we'll start trying when this baby is 1. If I get pregnant quickly I would be 37 having my third.
Times have changed. In my circle of friends a lot of us will be having kids into our late 30's and early 40's.
