21 month old biting nails

Anyone else's almost 2 year old biting their nails? Any ideas how I can break him of this habit before it's really impossible to break?

    My twins started biting their nails when we took binkies away at 2 yrs.  They are 6 now and still bite them some.  Never to the quick though so since it's not too excessive I haven't really tried to break them of it.  I was a nail biter as a kid too.

    I am a HORRIBLE nail biter.  DD started biting about two months ago.  I try to keep them trimmed so that there is nothing to bite, but I still notice her doing it occassionally. 

    She has a lot of "oral" habits, just like me.  She sucks her fingers, still mouths toys and such, bites DS, etc.  I sucked my thumb into late childhood and chew on things like pens and my nails.  I know I am doing it and want to stop, but I can't.
