does anyone remember their LO sleeping a T-O-N after they got their shots? i'm just curious if it's normal..she slept 9hrs overnight (awesome!!) and woke up, ate, and fell back asleep again.
Definitely! Especially with the two month shots (followed by 4 mo and then it got less 'severe' from there). He had to get them a couple days after discharge and he was soOOOo sleepy - and sad. That broke my heart.
Tomorrow T goes in for another round of bloodwork and I'm dreading it. He's at the age where he gets what is going on :Z
will be thinking about y ou tomorrow as he gets blood drawn! that age is probably awful to be at when it comes to this stuff.
my LO is blowing my mind. she has seriously been asleep except 30 min to eat (5 times since yesterday afternoon) since 2pm yesterday! i kinda miss playing with my baby girl!
Sam got his 2 months in the NICU, so I don't quite remember his response. He seemed super sleepy until he was term. His four months shots had that reaction. I kept poking him to make sure he was ok (even though he had a pulse oximeter).
When Sam gets his blood drawn, he now holds out his arm and pouts. He's so used to it. That's sad.

My twins just got their 4 month shots a couple days ago, and they slept the rest of the afternoon and through the night...I got them up around 7pm to feed them, but they went right back to sleep. I think they were probably more tired from all the screaming they did than from the shots themselves.

Re: shots...
Totally normal.
Caroline has her 4 month appointment today and I have a feeling she will be sleeping most of the night (okay I hope she feels okay tomorrow).
