Crap!

We just got off house arrest and had our first play date with my SIL and her babies on Monday. She just called to say her 2.5 year old has croup. She was dying to to meet Owen so I let her touch his feet and tummy. I am trying not to panic. I can't shelter him from the world, but he's only 2 months old. What should I do? When will it present itself if he has it? Crap crap crap. :-(

Thank you so much for the resources and everyone's prayers. I just talked to the pediatrician and she said if he gets it it will likely present itself within 2-5 days from contamination. So we should know by Friday or Saturday if he's going to get it. If you don't mi d sending some continued thoughts, dust, and prayers I would greatly appreciate it.

I am just crushed and now I'm paranoid to ever leave the house. We JUST got off house arrest.

Oh no! I'm so sorry - T&P's he doesn't get it  

I'm paranoid about leaving the house sometimes, too. He got sick on his first adventure out with bronchiolitis. Coughing is brutal! Extra T&P's! Boo, germs.

Sending positive vibes! My understanding is that it's spread like a cold, so hopefully since she just touched tummy and feet there wasn't too much exposure.
