Been debating getting one for ten years now. Still chicken. Heard the top of your foot hurts like heck, but it's temporary pain, right?
So, if you've got one -
What is it?
How bad DID it hurt? (1-10 scale)
Any regrets?
*Siggy Warning*

I have one. I have Love on the top of my right foot. I am thinking of getting both my feet done and covering it up soon though.
It didn't hurt too terribly bad. It stings a bit. The worst part is feeling your bones rattle around. I would probably rate it a 3-4 on the pain scale. My chest was like a 6 though (and I slept through that one).
The only regret I have is for getting something so lame. So I will cover it up with a larger brighter tattoo.
I have one.
Everyone has a different pain tolerance, so it's hard to say,
I love how it looks. Especially with cute shoes : )
I don't regret it at all.
I'm just lurking along here!
I have a tattoo on both feet. The one on my left foot takes up my whole foot. I'd rate that pain of that around a 6 or 7. I love it. It's still one of my favorite tattoos I have. I have another one my right foot. It is smaller. It was probably a 3 or 4 on the pain scale. I hate it. The tattoo is done really well, but I got it as a matching tattoo with a best friend. We no longer talk and it's a bitter situation. I will cover it up once I have a better idea of what I want.
My Chart
I have a butterfly on the top of my foot. It hurt, but it wasn't terrible. It felt like a razor blade was being dragged along my skin. It took about 45 minutes to an hour for the artist to finish it. Painful, but not unbearable.
I got it when I was 21 to be a rebel and I honestly wish I hadn't. I don't like that it shows anytime I wear sandals or go barefoot. I'd have it removed but I've heard that is twice as painful so I am just stuck with it I suppose. I'll never get another.
I have a flower with some decorative viney lines on the top of my right foot. I also have both inside wrists tattooed, and have had both shoulders tattooed twice each with barely a flinch. Those I would consider about a 4. My foot I would consider about an 8. I do have really sensitive skin on my feet, so that may have made the difference. I literally had to hold my leg (unsuccessfully) and the tattoo artist had to hold down my foot and make a couple of corrections because my foot was involuntarily jumping from the pain. Like it was trying to detach itself and escape.
I have had lots of people tell me that their foot was no big deal. I would still do it, but just be prepared for pain if you have sensitive feet.
Yes. It's a breast cancer ribbon. Its on the top of my foot towards the inside.
I don't think it hurt that bad. I thought it was going to hurt a lot so I expected the worst.
My only regret is the loser that did it. A friend and I went together, she got hers first and it's perfect. Then the artist got cocky and didn't try as hard with mine. It's not crazy bad or deformed or anything. The color is just a little uneven. It would be a simple fix.
I have one small one on each foot. The one on my right foot is on top, and the one on my left is on the inside arch.
The one on my arch probably rated a 7 pain-wise, but the one on top of my foot wasn't bad at all. I regret that they were both done by a crappy tattoo artist (19-year-old Britt didn't do her research before she actually got tattooed), but other than that I like them.
Someday I'll get them touched up by someone who actually knows what they're doing.
I have three hot pink stars on my left foot.
I would say it was a 6.
No regrets
I do not have a foot tattoo but 5 other tatts. Everybody is different. My most painful one was around my wrist. But I was just as nervous about my newest on my shoulder.
Tattoos hurt. But if it's important to you you'll be brave!

I have one on my right foot. It is lillies and trailing vines. It starts across the top along my toes and trails along the right outside of my foot. I got it a while ago, like 6-7 years ago. If I remember right, it was maybe a 6? I have super boney feet so that didn't help matters. My rib tattoo hurt much, much worse though. I only regret the tattooist I used. She had a heavy hand so some of the lines have blown, making the tattoo fuzzier than it should be.
I have a pretty big tattoo on my foot. It hurt and it hurt really effing bad around my toes, it felt like someone was tattooing the bone.
I also have a huge back tattoo, neck, lip, and forearm. The foot was by far the worst. I don't regret it at all though, it's my second favorite tattoo.
