CDing a Circumsized Boy

I am going to circumsize my baby boy and was wondering if the disposable liners were enough to protect the CDs from the vasoline or is there an alternative to vasoline I can use?

I used disposable liners folded in half and didn't have any problems.

Honestly, I just used the disposables that the hospital gave us until our son healed.  His healed up quickly enough that they had given us just enough.  The nurse told us to really glob on the vasoline and I was terrified that DH would forget a liner and I didn't want to ruin our brand new cloth diapers.

We were told not to put Vaseline or anything on it do we didn't have to worry about liners or anything. It was a nice surprise to not have to deal with that.

This, by week two he was healed & in newborn size cloth.
