Sleep Help!

Avery has started waking up multiple times a night. He sits up in his crib and cries. If we go in and lie him down he passes out immediately. Anyone else dealt with this? He has been asleep for an hour and just started crying, when I went in he was sitting up, eyes closed, and crying. I layed him down and he was out. I really dont know what to do, but the frequent wakings are worse than the newborn stage.

Have you tried waiting to go in? It sounds like he's not really awake, just sort of rousing between sleep cycles. If he goes back to sleep so easily, I think he will be able to settle himself on his own pretty soon.

Mine did this for about two weeks and he would calm down on our chests and then repeat an hour or so later? 

We're redoing sleep training and night times are back on track again, but it was a hiccup that seemed to go on forever, especially this late in the game!
