I know there are a few and I'm trying to come up with a list so I can do all the research before I make a decision.
My thought is that it makes sense to get a single stroller that can eventually become a double by buying a second seat when our next baby comes along. To me that makes more sense that buying a single now and then having to buy another double stroller when #2 comes along. Anything I'm not thinking of with this thought process? Thanks! ![]()

Re: Single stroller that can become double?
You can also buy a Baby Jogger City Select. I have several friends that have one and they love them.

There are a few, depending on what style you like. PPs already mentioned the City Select and the B-Ready. Here's what I can remember off the top of my head:
That's all I can think of for now, I'm sure there are more.
iCandy Peach to Blossom (Apple was discontinued in the US)
Bugaboo Donkey (only side by side in the group)
Orbit G2 (double conversion coming this fall)
Baby Jogger City Select
UPPAbaby Vista (not a true double with full features)
Mutsy 4Rider (not a true double with full features & not sure if 2nd seat is still sold in US)
Phil & Teds strollers (not personally a fan)
Britax B-Ready (not personally a fan)
I have the bugaboo donkey and I love it. I personally don't like the britax and ones like it because I feel like its unfair for one child to be staring at the back of the stroller. I feel like if I put one of my kids in that double stroller like Phil and teds, one gets the "good" seat and one gets the "bad" seat. That's why i like the donkey. Both kids get the same view. Plus the donkey seats can face you or face out and they can also be a bassinet. I love it!
