So I had my ER this morning and they got 10 eggs (Praying that the majority are mature). DH had sperm (another blessing!). It was horribly emotional and I cried a bunch of times but it went fine otherwise. I am at a practice where they rotate the drs so you never really see your dr and your dr isn't usually the one to do the procedures unless he happens to be on rotation that day - I am happy to say that my dr came just to do my retrieval (he is a senior dr at the place). The nurse (beeeotch) thought I was under already and said - oh I guess she is special - and I replied yes I am so make note of it .. lol
I am pretty sore and in pain (the dr definitely had to work to get to my left ovary because it is behind a fibroid and can't usually get to it - the dr on rotation today couldn't get to it on the first IVF cycle).
So I am thankful we got eggs, I am thankful we got sperm, I am thankful that my dr knew I needed him to be the dr there and of course I am Super thankful (and blessed) to have everyone here.

EWWWW! I so want to punch her for you! Even if you had been completely under, that was so incredibly uncalled for. I would mention it to your dr at some point down the road....she needs to be told to have more tact!
BUT, so glad your dr came in for you. He obviously recognized how hard this was for you and knew he needed to be there. I think I like him! And, glad things went well! Great egg count, and great that YH had some swimmers in there!
