I've been at my current job for over 12 years but did work at a shoe store through high-school, college and beyond for probably about the same number of years (part-time and some full-time).
I've been working full-time since I was 21, so that's 19 LONG years! When I think about how I got my first "real" job as a paper girl when I was 12 I think holy cats, I've been working for 28 years. That's more than some people work in a lifetime.

I've been at this job since 7/2. But the newness is because this company took over my old job. I'd been there about 15 months.
My longest at a job was residency. 4 1/2 years.
Ive been working FT since June 2006. I did have a FT summer job in 2004, but it was just for summer.

I have been with my current employer for over seven years. Different titles but basically the same responsibilities.
This is the longest in one place.
I went to grad school in biomedical science and in many ways that is working full time+ including pay (although it wasn't a lot). So that was six years total and now I am seven years out of that. So 13 years after college. (In college I worked full time in the summers and part time during semesters.)

i've basically been working full time since about senior year in high school. In college I worked about 20 hours, but always overloaded on courses and babysat besides so that added up.
In grad school i worked 20 hours on the books, but generally worked 40 - 50 on my assistantship because I liked it so much ( a dork, i know).
I've been at my current job for 1 month.
The longest time I've been at a job is 4 years.
I worked FT for 4 years after college, had a baby, and then SAH for 16 months.

After college I had the same FT job for 3 years. Then I quit that job and went to law school. Right after law school I got my current FT job.

I've been at my current job for 3.5 years.
I was at my previous job for a little less than 8 years (two different job titles/employers, but same agency).
I did AmeriCorps for two years right after college (averages about 32.5 hours/week), then I was hired by the agency that I served at and have been working 40 hours/week since then. I had a brief hiatus of voluntary unemployment (my own little "sabbatical") for 2.5 months between my previous job and the one I have now.
I have also been going to grad school part time since I started my current job - three credits left to go!

Been working for 13 years post law school.
I have been at my current job for almost 6 years.
Six years is the longest that I have ever been at a job.
I've only been working FT for about 13 years. I worked PT in college and grad school and didn't really start FT work (35-40 hrs/week) until I finished grad school.

what's the longest you've ever been any single job? 10 years--this is the longest by far. Freaks me out that it's also longer than all of my elementary school years, and more than twice as long as high school or college..
