Wool and bamboo question

I'm knitting DS a few wool covers right now made of 100% wool. Then I'm moving on to pants and want to knit him some nice soft woolies both summer weight and winter weight. For the summer longies I chose this gorgeous soft yarn thats 50% wool and 50% bamboo. Can this be used as a cover, you think? Obviously the bamboo is absorbant enough but I wonder how much it will affect the dryness of the wool or if it will lead to more compression leaks. Any thoughts?

Right, it'll absorb and that's not what you want in a cover. Wool is great because it repels liquid.
