I had a somewhat coherent blog post written this morning, and it was eaten. my retry was garbage. So, the shorter answer, is:

*There were some changes in the case (biomom isn't doing well) and that's hard for Zucchini to process.

*She reacts more strongly to bugs when her overall anxiety level is high.

*all parties involved, including eventually Zucchini, decided it would be best for her not to go.

*We went--had a great time. Carrot's first time camping ever and she was a rock-star! (Mama, can you catch me another cricket?) Pumpkin was a super-star of course, as well. After his dose of Benadryl, poor itchy allergy boy.

*The four of us will go on our bigger trip in August.  Zucchini will stay with her current foster family. She is okay with it.

*It was hard to be at the campsite, on the "family trip" without her--I want her to feel like part of the family. But, she wasn't ready. 

*We are doing extra family time with her--Sun we also went to Brave (my kids loved the fighting) and some other family time this week.
