When nursing my LO's lower lip sometimes quivers for a few seconds. I always assumed that this meant she either wanted more milk or was trying to slow the flow. Does anyone know which one it is? Just curious. TIA!
It's usually caused by immaturity in the nervous system. They usually outgrow it within months. Mine still does it every now and then at 9 months when he's tired.
That's interesting!
I had thought that it may have been something like when puppies/kittens do this, because they're trying to get more milk. I know babies aren't animals, but thought perhaps the principle is maybe the same.
