My two will each be in their own rooms. I definitely still want the older to have a baby monitor in his room for a long while, so I think we will either need two sets of monitors or one with two bases (which I've never seen). I've been pleased with our current one (graco secure coverage). If I got another set of the same kind, with they interfere or mess up in such close range? What kind of set up works well?
Re: Baby monitors?
We have this one, which is one touch screen monitor that can have up to 4 cameras (we have 2 currently hooked up). It's Summer Infant Baby Touch and we got an additional camera. It scans both rooms every 8 seconds or something like that, so we can keep tabs on my toddler and my newborn. Works really good for us! I also like that I can control the cameras from the monitor, so I can zoom, rotate, and move the camera up and down just from using the monitor! I also love that there is a talk back feature, like an intercom. I can talk to my toddler using the monitor without having to go upstairs or yell for her, it's so convenient and my DD loves that she always has me close even though I am not in the room with her!

Others also have a Motorola monitor that is similar and also has great reviews. So you can go with either one I think, I think it's just preference. HTH!

We have this one as well and really like it. We have a cameras set up in play room and DS room now and will add a camera over the bassinet when LO2 arrives.
