Middle Name Help

We are set with Mary for a girl after my husbands mother Marietta who passed away 2 1/2 years ago.

The middle name i would like it to be after my mother. Her first and middle name is Diane Lyn.

What do you ladies like best?

I like Mary Diane or Mary Diana, Mary Lyn has too much 'y' in it.

I think Mary Diana is best, then Mary Diane, and then Mary Lyn. Mary Lyn sounds too much like Marilyn. Although Marilyn isn't a bad option.

This, I think that I'd go with Marilyn as the FN with Mary as a nn. Great way to pay tribute.

Have you considered going with Marietta and calling her Mary for short? I think Marietta is beautiful and Mary is plain. That being said I think Mary Lyn has a nice ring. Mary Diana is less stuffy that Mary Diane.

I like Mary Diane. You could go with Marilyn Diane too.
